We Have a Release Date for the iMac Pro

It’s sooner than you think.

It seems we will be able to get our hands on the iMac Pro in only a few short hours. The release date for Apple’s latest innovation the iMac Pro is set for tomorrow, Thursday, December 14th, 2017.

We know from the WWDC announcement that the iMac Pro will be available in 8-core, 10-core, and 18-core Xeon processor options, with up to 16 GB of VRAM, 128GB of ECC memory, and 4TB of SSD. The design remains familiar from the more general iMac line, but the Pro adds a bold new 5K display, which will be capable of supporting up to 44 million pixels.

Those stats make the iMac Pro ideal for pushing around a large amount of data, making it a decent choice for the all-in-one creative professional who is taking full advantage of all the Adobe Creative Cloud applications.

Yesterday, YouTuber, Marques Brownlee, gave his first impressions on the iMac Pro.

While the wait is long over, it comes at a price… The iMac will have a starting price of $4,999, which means you should probably get the iMac Pro on your purchase orders now to prepare your accountants.
