Best Brand Twitter Reactions to IHOB, The International House Of Burgers
Writer + Creator of CRTVCHURCH
Yesterday’s announcement of IHOP becoming IHOB set the Twitter-sphere on fire! But, it wasn’t the users that had their day in the sun… No, it was the brands! Major titans of the food industry took to Twitter to offer the world some of the best ‘brand burns’ we’ve seen. Many of them channeling their inner-Wendy’s to get the job done.
But, what went wrong? Why is there so much flack being given to
IHOP IHOB in the first place?
If it’s not obvious, Jaron Myers says it best in his tweet:
I - international
H - house
O - of
b - badmarketingdecisions https://t.co/ahFUUVAIcI

‘Bad Marketing Decisions’ is right, and,
IHOP’s IHOB’s fellow brands weren’t afraid to call them out.
Here are some of the best brand reactions to the
IHOP’s IHOB’s change.
1. As Always Wendy’s Brings The Fire!
Not really afraid of the burgers from a place that decided pancakes were too hard.

4. MoonPie Understands Tradition
We’ve worked really hard for like 100 years to get people to remember our brand name so if it’s cool with everyone we’re just going to stick with MoonPie thank you

5. Denny’s Knows.
